Nile RiverPygmy Hippos

Nile River Pygmy Hippos are small, semi-aquatic mammals native to the Nile River and surrounding areas. They have dark brown or grayish skin, short legs, and a barrel-shaped body. These hippos are herbivores, feeding on aquatic plants and grasses. They are known for their shy and elusive nature, often hiding in dense vegetation along the riverbanks. Nile River Pygmy Hippos are considered an endangered species due to habitat loss and hunting.
