Neoplastic
Neoplastic refers to the abnormal growth of cells, typically forming a mass or tumor. These cells have lost normal control mechanisms, allowing them to divide and multiply uncontrollably. Neoplastic growth can be benign or malignant, with malignant neoplasms having the potential to invade nearby tissues and spread to other parts of the body. Treatment for neoplastic diseases often involves surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or a combination of these methods.
