National League Eastern League

The National League Eastern League consists of five professional baseball teams: the Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals. These teams compete in the National League of Major League Baseball and are based in cities located in the eastern part of the United States. The league was established in 1969 when Major League Baseball expanded its operations. Teams in the National League Eastern League play against each other throughout the regular season, with the goal of advancing to the playoffs and ultimately winning the World Series.
