Mosasaurs
Mosasaurs were a group of large, extinct marine reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. They were powerful predators with elongated bodies, long tails, and flipper-like limbs adapted for swimming. Mosasaurs had sharp teeth and strong jaws, allowing them to feed on a variety of prey, including fish, squid, and smaller marine reptiles. Some species of mosasaurs grew to lengths of over 50 feet and were top predators in their oceanic ecosystems.
