Mooses

Moose are the largest species in the deer family, known for their impressive size and distinctive antlers. They are typically found in northern regions of North America, Europe, and Asia, inhabiting areas such as forests, swamps, and lakeshores. Moose are herbivores, feeding on a diet of plants, twigs, and bark. They are known for their solitary nature, although they may form small groups during mating season or in winter. Male moose, known as bulls, are known for their large, palmate antlers which they shed and regrow each year. Female moose, known as cows, give birth to one or two calves each spring. Moose are strong swimmers and can often be found wading in bodies of water to feed on aquatic plants.
