Monotheistic Sikhism

Monotheistic Sikhism is a religion founded in the 15th century in the Punjab region of South Asia. It is based on the teachings of Guru Nanak and subsequent Sikh Gurus, emphasizing the belief in one supreme, formless God. Followers of Sikhism strive to live virtuous lives, meditate on the name of God, and serve others selflessly. The religion promotes equality, compassion, and social justice, with an emphasis on community service and charitable giving. Sikhism is characterized by its distinct practices, including wearing the Five Ks, reciting prayers from the Guru Granth Sahib, and participating in community worship at Gurdwaras.
