Monotheism Polytheism
Monotheism and Polytheism are two contrasting belief systems regarding the existence of deities. Monotheism is the belief in the existence of only one supreme deity, while Polytheism is the belief in the existence of multiple deities. Followers of Monotheism worship and devote themselves to a single, all-powerful god, such as in the Abrahamic religions of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. On the other hand, Polytheism involves the worship of multiple gods and goddesses, each with their own distinct powers and attributes, as seen in ancient Greek, Roman, and Hindu religions. These belief systems shape the religious practices, rituals, and worldviews of their respective followers.
