Mijikenda Dialects

Mijikenda Dialects refer to a group of closely related Bantu languages spoken by the Mijikenda people of Kenya. These dialects include Chonyi, Digo, Duruma, Giriama, Jibana, Kauma, Kambe, Rabai, Ribe, and others. Each dialect has its own unique phonology, vocabulary, and grammar, but they share many similarities due to their common Bantu roots. Speakers of Mijikenda Dialects can generally understand each other, but there are distinct differences that set each dialect apart.
