Methodist Episcopal
Methodist Episcopal refers to a branch of Methodism that was originally part of the Episcopal Church in the United States. It was established in the late 18th century and played a significant role in the growth of Methodism in America. The Methodist Episcopal Church later split into several different branches, including the African Methodist Episcopal Church and the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. The denomination has a strong emphasis on personal piety, social justice, and evangelism.
