The Medieval Periods refers to the historical time period in Europe that lasted from the 5th to the 15th centuries. It is characterized by the fall of the Western Roman Empire, the rise of feudalism, the spread of Christianity, and the emergence of powerful kingdoms and empires. This era saw significant advancements in art, architecture, literature, and science, as well as major events such as the Crusades, the Black Death, and the Hundred Years' War. The Medieval Periods is often divided into three sub-periods: the Early Middle Ages, the High Middle Ages, and the Late Middle Ages.
