Maternal Health Equity
Maternal Health Equity refers to the concept of ensuring that all mothers have fair and equal access to healthcare services and resources before, during, and after pregnancy. This includes addressing disparities in healthcare outcomes based on factors such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, geographic location, and access to care. The goal of maternal health equity is to eliminate barriers and inequalities that prevent all women from receiving the same level of quality care and support during the maternal health journey.
