Mangonels

Mangonels are medieval siege weapons used to hurl projectiles at enemy fortifications. They are similar to catapults but use a different mechanism to launch their payload. Mangonels typically consist of a long wooden arm with a bucket or sling at one end to hold the projectile. The arm is then pulled back and released, launching the projectile towards the target. Mangonels were commonly used during sieges to break down walls or cause havoc within enemy defenses.
