Manganite
Manganite is a mineral composed of manganese oxide hydroxide, typically occurring in black to dark brown crystalline formations. It is commonly found in association with other manganese minerals and is often used as an ore of manganese. Manganite has a metallic luster and a Mohs hardness of 4 to 5. It is commonly found in hydrothermal veins and sedimentary deposits.
