Malayalam Language Usage
The Malayalam language is primarily spoken in the Indian state of Kerala and the union territory of Lakshadweep. It is also widely spoken in the neighboring states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, as well as among the Malayali diaspora around the world. Malayalam is known for its rich literary tradition, with a long history of poetry, prose, and drama. The language is written in a script derived from the ancient Brahmi script, known as Malayalam script. Malayalam is also known for its unique phonetic system, with a large number of vowel sounds and consonant clusters. It is considered one of the most difficult Indian languages for non-native speakers to learn due to its complex grammar and syntax.
