Lion Habitats
Lion habitats refer to the natural environments where lions typically reside and thrive. These habitats are typically found in savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands across sub-Saharan Africa and a small population in the Gir Forest of India. Lions are apex predators and require large territories to roam, hunt, and establish their prides. They are well-adapted to a variety of habitats, as long as there is access to prey, water sources, and suitable shelter. Lions are known to be highly adaptable and can be found in a range of habitats, from dry desert regions to lush, tropical forests.
