Lepidopterans
Lepidopterans are insects belonging to the order Lepidoptera, characterized by their four large, often colorful wings covered in tiny scales. They undergo complete metamorphosis, starting as eggs, then developing into caterpillars before forming a chrysalis and emerging as adult butterflies or moths.
