Leaf Monkeys
Leaf monkeys are a group of Old World monkeys belonging to the subfamily Colobinae. They are known for their distinctive appearance, with long tails and unique coloration patterns on their fur. Leaf monkeys primarily inhabit tropical forests in Southeast Asia, where they subsist mainly on a diet of leaves, fruits, and occasionally insects. These arboreal primates are highly agile and spend most of their time in the canopy, moving gracefully among the treetops. Leaf monkeys are characterized by their social behavior, living in groups that range in size from a few individuals to larger troops.
