Language and Communication Disorders
Language and Communication Disorders refer to conditions that affect an individual's ability to understand, use, and/or produce spoken, written, and/or other forms of communication. These disorders can manifest in a variety of ways, including difficulties with speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice production, and social communication. Individuals with language and communication disorders may struggle to effectively express their thoughts and ideas, comprehend verbal and written information, engage in conversations, or maintain relationships. These disorders can have a significant impact on a person's academic, social, and professional life, and may require intervention and support from speech-language pathologists, educators, and other professionals to help individuals improve their communication skills.
