Komodo Dragons Habitat
The natural environment where Komodo dragons, the world's largest lizards, are typically found. This habitat consists of tropical dry forests, savannas, and grasslands on the islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, and Gili Motang in Indonesia. The terrain is rugged and hilly, with rocky outcrops and caves for shelter. The climate is hot and arid, with a distinct wet and dry season. Komodo dragons are adept swimmers and can also be found near coastal areas. They are apex predators in their habitat, preying on a variety of animals including deer, wild boar, and birds.
