Kinship Cousins
Kinship Cousins refers to individuals who are related through a common ancestor, but are not direct descendants of that ancestor. Cousins share a familial connection and typically belong to the same generation within a family tree. The relationship between cousins is considered a lateral one, as opposed to a vertical relationship between parents and children. Cousins can be first cousins (children of siblings), second cousins (children of first cousins), third cousins (children of second cousins), and so on. The degree of cousinship is determined by the number of generations that separate the common ancestor from each cousin.
