Keplers Laws

Kepler's Laws refer to three scientific principles formulated by the German astronomer Johannes Kepler in the early 17th century to describe the motion of planets around the sun. The three laws are as follows: 1) The orbits of planets are ellipses, with the sun at one of the two foci. 2) A line segment joining a planet and the sun sweeps out equal areas during equal intervals of time. 3) The square of the orbital period of a planet is directly proportional to the cube of the semi-major axis of its orbit. These laws revolutionized our understanding of planetary motion and laid the foundation for Isaac Newton's law of universal gravitation.
