Kathenotheism

Kathenotheism is a religious belief system in which multiple gods or deities are acknowledged and worshipped individually, with each deity being considered supreme in their own right at different times or in different circumstances. Followers of kathenotheism may focus their devotion on a particular deity for a period of time before shifting their worship to another deity, recognizing the power and importance of each god in a cyclical or alternating manner. This belief differs from polytheism in that it emphasizes the monotheistic worship of one deity at a time, while still acknowledging the existence of other gods.
