Islamic Republics
Islamic Republics are political entities that combine elements of a republic with principles of Islamic law. These countries typically have a system of government in which elected officials represent the people, but the legal system is based on Islamic principles, such as the Quran and Hadith. Islamic Republics often have a Supreme Leader or similar figure who holds significant power and influence, alongside a president or prime minister. These countries may also have specific institutions in place to ensure that Islamic law is upheld in all aspects of society.
