Islamic Pilgrimage

Islamic Pilgrimage refers to the sacred journey undertaken by Muslims to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. This pilgrimage, known as Hajj, is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is a mandatory religious duty for all able-bodied Muslims who can afford to make the journey at least once in their lifetime. The Hajj typically takes place during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah and involves a series of rituals and practices that commemorate the actions of Prophet Abraham and his family. The pilgrimage is a time of spiritual reflection, prayer, and communal worship, as well as a time for Muslims to seek forgiveness and renew their faith.
