Islamic Economics
Islamic Economics refers to the economic principles and practices based on Islamic teachings and guidelines. It emphasizes ethical and moral values, social justice, equality, and sustainability. Islamic Economics prohibits certain activities such as interest-based transactions (riba) and gambling (maisir), and promotes the concept of risk-sharing and wealth distribution. It aims to create a just and equitable society where wealth is not concentrated in the hands of a few, but is distributed among all members of the community. Islamic Economics also emphasizes the importance of charity (zakat) and ethical conduct in economic transactions.
