Islamic Beliefs and Practices
Islamic Beliefs and Practices refer to the core principles, teachings, rituals, and customs followed by Muslims around the world. These beliefs and practices are based on the teachings of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, and the Sunnah, the traditions and practices of the Prophet Muhammad. They encompass the Five Pillars of Islam, which include the declaration of faith (Shahada), prayer (Salat), fasting during the month of Ramadan (Sawm), giving to charity (Zakat), and the pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj). Additionally, Islamic beliefs and practices also encompass concepts such as monotheism, the belief in one God (Allah), the importance of morality, compassion, and justice, as well as the significance of community, family, and social responsibility.
