Irregular Galaxies
Irregular galaxies are a type of galaxy that do not have a distinct, symmetrical shape like spiral or elliptical galaxies. They are characterized by their chaotic, asymmetrical appearance with no clear structure or central bulge. Irregular galaxies often contain large amounts of gas and dust, leading to active star formation and bright, young blue stars.
