Invasive Mammal Species

Invasive mammal species are non-native mammals that have been introduced to a new environment and have rapidly spread, causing harm to the ecosystem, economy, or human health. These species often outcompete native species for resources, disrupt natural food chains, and can lead to the decline of other species in the area. Invasive mammal species are a significant threat to biodiversity and can be difficult to control once established in an ecosystem.
