Intermediate Readers
Intermediate readers are individuals who have progressed beyond beginner reading levels but are not yet advanced readers. They are typically able to read and understand longer, more complex texts with some assistance. They have developed basic reading skills such as decoding words, understanding vocabulary, and comprehending main ideas. They may still need support with more challenging vocabulary, complex sentence structures, and abstract concepts. Intermediate readers are often in upper elementary or middle school grades.
