Interdiction Agent

An interdiction agent is a law enforcement officer tasked with preventing illegal activities such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, smuggling, and other forms of criminal activity. These agents work to intercept and disrupt illicit operations, often through surveillance, intelligence gathering, and strategic intervention. Interdiction agents may be employed by various agencies, such as the DEA, Border Patrol, Coast Guard, and Customs and Border Protection, among others. Their primary goal is to enforce laws and regulations, protect national security, and safeguard public safety by identifying and apprehending individuals involved in illegal activities.
