Inferential Statistics
Inferential Statistics involves making predictions, estimates, or generalizations about a population based on a sample of data. This branch of statistics uses probability theory to draw conclusions and make inferences about the larger population from which the sample was taken. Inferential statistics allows researchers to assess the reliability and validity of their findings and make informed decisions based on the data they have collected.
