Indian Sikhism

Indian Sikhism is a religious belief system that originated in the Punjab region of India in the 15th century. Followers of Indian Sikhism, known as Sikhs, believe in the teachings of Guru Nanak and the nine other Sikh Gurus who followed him. The religion emphasizes the importance of meditation, equality, selfless service, and devotion to God. Sikhism is characterized by its distinctive practices, such as wearing the Five Ks (Kesh, Kangha, Kara, Kachera, and Kirpan), participating in community service (Seva), and congregational worship at Gurdwaras.
