Icelandic Geysers

Icelandic geysers are natural hot springs that periodically erupt with scalding water and steam. These geothermal features are unique to Iceland and are formed when underground water is heated by magma, causing it to rise to the surface and erupt in a powerful jet. The most famous Icelandic geyser is Strokkur, located in the geothermal area of Haukadalur. Geysers are a popular tourist attraction in Iceland, drawing visitors from around the world to witness their spectacular displays of natural power.
