Horsetail Falls
Horsetail Falls is a natural waterfall located in Yosemite National Park in California. It is famous for its stunning appearance during the winter months when the setting sun hits the waterfall at just the right angle, creating a fiery orange glow that resembles flowing lava. This phenomenon, known as the "Firefall," is a popular attraction for photographers and nature enthusiasts alike. The waterfall itself is approximately 1,570 feet in height and flows year-round, but the Firefall effect is only visible for a short period in February when conditions are just right.
