Homotherium
Homotherium is a genus of extinct saber-toothed cats that lived during the Pleistocene epoch. They were large, carnivorous mammals known for their long, curved canine teeth and powerful jaws. Homotherium had a robust build and likely hunted large mammals such as mammoths and bison. They were skilled predators and were able to take down prey much larger than themselves. These prehistoric cats were widespread across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
