Homopterans
Homopterans are a group of insects characterized by piercing-sucking mouthparts and typically membranous wings held roof-like over the body when at rest. They include aphids, cicadas, leafhoppers, and scale insects, among others. These insects are known for feeding on plant sap and can sometimes be agricultural pests.
