Homoiousians
Homoiousians were a group of 4th-century Christian theologians who believed that the Son of God was of a similar substance or essence to the Father, but not identical. They opposed the Nicene Creed's assertion of the Son being of the same substance as the Father, leading to the Homoiousian Controversy within the early Christian church.
