Hurdles
Hurdles is a subdivision of Track and Field, a sport that takes place on athletic fields. It involves athletes racing while jumping over obstacles called hurdles, arranged in a straight line for sprint events and on both sides of a curve for longer distances. The height of the hurdles varies depending on the event and the age and gender of the participants. Hurdlers use a specific running technique that combines speed and agility to clear each hurdle while maintaining forward momentum. Mastering this skill requires practice, strength, and coordination. In competitions, athletes are timed from start to finish, with the fastest time determining the winner. The hurdles event is both challenging and thrilling, testing an athlete's speed, power, and technique in a unique way.
