Athena is the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill in Ancient Greek religion and mythology. As a daughter of Zeus, she was born fully grown, springing from his forehead in full battle armor. She is the patron goddess of the city of Athens, which bears her name, and is depicted with an owl as her symbol of wisdom. In Hellenic culture, Athena played a significant role in various aspects of society, including warfare, weaving, and law. As part of European culture and mythology, she represents the embodiment of civilization, reason, and intelligence, making her a highly respected and revered figure.
