Network Protocols
Network Protocols refer to the established rules and conventions governing the communication between devices on a computer network, encompassing both hardware and software components. These protocols facilitate data transmission, ensuring compatibility and interoperability among various networked devices. They define methods for establishing connections, managing data flow, handling errors, and terminating connections. Examples of network protocols include Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), Internet Protocol (IP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP).
