Power Supply Units
Network Attached Storage (NAS) refers to dedicated file-level computer data storage servers connected to a computer network that provides data access to a heterogeneous group of clients. Typically, NAS is specialized for serving files either by its hardware, software, or configuration. It is often manufactured as a computer appliance – a specialized computer built from the ground up for storing and serving files – rather than simply a general purpose computer being used for the role. NAS units are networked appliances which contain one or more hard drives, often arranged into logical, redundant storage containers or RAID arrays. Network Attached Storage serves files using network file sharing protocols such as NFS, SMB/CIFS, or AFP. It is often seen in environments where a centralized location for data access and storage is advantageous. In summary, NAS is a type of storage that is connected to a network and can be accessed by multiple devices simultaneously. It provides file-level data access and is commonly used in scenarios where centralized data storage and access is required.
