LED Monitors
LED monitors are flat-panel computer displays that use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as the source of backlighting, rather than the cold-cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) used in older LCD monitors. This technology allows for thinner designs, improved energy efficiency, and better contrast ratios compared to CCFL-backlit monitors. LED monitors are often categorized by their panel type, such as Twisted Nematic (TN), Vertical Alignment (VA), or In-Plane Switching (IPS), each of which offers different advantages in terms of color accuracy, viewing angles, and response times. Additionally, LED monitors may come with various features such as adjustable stands, built-in speakers, and connectivity options like HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB. They are commonly used for a wide range of applications, including gaming, graphic design, video editing, and general computer use.
