Creative Writing

Definition of Creative Writing as it relates to Writing, Copywriting, Transcription Writing

Creative Writing is the artful expression of ideas, stories, and emotions through written language. It sets itself apart from other forms of writing by emphasizing originality, imagination, and emotional resonance over factual accuracy or persuasive argumentation. While it may not be the primary focus of copywriting or transcription writing, creative writing can still play a role in these areas. For instance, a creative approach to copywriting can make advertisements more engaging and memorable, while creative elements in transcription writing can bring historical documents or interviews to life. Thus, while not a central aspect of either copywriting or transcription writing, creative writing can enhance and enrich these forms of expression.
