Indigenous Cultures
"Indigenous Cultures": A term used to describe the unique cultural practices, traditions, and knowledge systems of communities who are original inhabitants of a particular geographic region, prior to colonization or outside influence. These cultures often possess rich oral traditions, passed down through generations via storytelling, song, and other forms of verbal communication, as well as distinct beliefs, values, languages, and worldviews that shape their daily lives and relationship with the environment. Indigenous Cultures encompass a wide range of practices, from spiritual rituals to artistic expressions, and are deeply rooted in the history, land, and community of the people who practice them.
