Wheelchair Curling
Wheelchair Curling is an adaptive version of curling, designed for athletes with physical disabilities who require wheelchairs for mobility. The game involves sliding stones onto a sheet of ice towards a circular target area called the house. Competitors take turns to deliver their stones and sweep the path in front of them to guide their trajectory. Points are scored based on the proximity of the stone to the center of the house. This discipline shares many similarities with traditional curling, but its specific adaptations make it particularly suitable for athletes with mobility impairments.
