Water Polo is a dynamic and physically demanding sport that takes place in a swimming pool, making it unique amongst team sports. The objective is to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team's net, while also preventing the other team from doing the same. Players must tread water continuously, using only their legs for propulsion, as they maneuver the ball and defend against opponents. The sport requires excellent swimming skills, strength, endurance, and strategic thinking. Water Polo has been a part of the Olympic Games since 1900, showcasing the highest level of competition and athleticism in the sport.
