Control Theory
Control theory deals with the behavior of dynamical systems and how to alter their behavior using control actions. It is a branch of mathematics that uses modeling, analysis, and design techniques to manage and optimize the performance of systems. In theoretical computer science, control theory can be applied to automated systems, such as autonomous vehicles or robotic manipulators, where algorithms are used to make decisions and take actions based on sensor data. It is closely related to areas such as optimization, estimation, and stability analysis, and provides a framework for understanding and designing complex systems. Control theory also has applications in other fields such as engineering, physics, economics, and biology, making it an interdisciplinary area of study.
