Definition of Real Estate Investment as it relates to Real Estate, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Construction

Real Estate Investment: This involves the purchase, ownership, management, rental, or sale of real estate for profit. It requires a significant amount of capital and is often used as a long-term investment strategy. Real estate investors may choose to develop properties themselves or hire construction companies to do so. They must also be knowledgeable about real estate appraisal in order to accurately determine the value of their investments. Real Estate Investment, as it pertains to the hierarchy of Real Estate/Real Estate Appraisal/Real Estate Construction, involves the acquisition and development of properties with the expectation of generating income or appreciation in value over time.
