Undergravel Filters
Definition of Undergravel Filters as it relates to Pets, Fish Tanks
Undergravel filters are specialized filtration systems designed for aquariums. They function by drawing water through a porous plate placed beneath the aquarium substrate, thereby trapping debris and fostering the growth of beneficial bacteria that break down harmful substances in the water.
