Human Rights

Definition of Human Rights as it relates to People, Politicians

Human Rights refers to the basic rights and freedoms inherently belonging to all individuals, regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity, religion, language, or any other status. They encompass civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights that are essential for human dignity, equality, and justice. These rights include freedom from discrimination and violence, the right to life, liberty, and security of person, freedom of expression and association, the right to education and health, and many more. Infringements on these rights can occur at various levels, including by individuals, communities, corporations, or governments. Politicians and people in power have a crucial role in upholding, protecting, and promoting human rights, ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy them without discrimination or exclusion.
